I have a blog because I have a lot to say.
I'm a 23-year-old journalist who maybe should have majored in social work, or teaching -- but, nevertheless, I'm damn good at what I do.
When I was little I had a bowl cut, an intense love for french fries, and one time I spent 12 minutes searching for the exact coordinates when my mom asked me me to put something in the "middle" of the kitchen table.
I'm not perfect. I've made many mistakes. But, without them I'd be incredibly boring, and with out a doubt more naive and shallow; not to mention without my faith that everyone has the power to change, though very few do.
I believe, especially in pageants, helping friends along the way is worth much more than any sort of title. Those who push people down to get to the top are rarely happy, and I refuse to do it.
On my trips from A to B, I always find myself at L or Y having a much better time.
Do what you feel-- but more importantly, feel what you do.
